I previously had a commercial/hotel grade Serta mattress that was a bit too firm for my partner's comfort. I saw this on a Prime Day Deal for $272 for a King sized mattress. I figured this would help tide me over for a little bit until we were able to take the time to properly shop for a new mattress. The reviews on this mattress seemed pretty good so I figured I didn't have much to lose. The bed was delivered next day. As many have mentioned, this bed is pretty heavy, about 150 lbs, but this is lighter than my previous traditional mattress. The bag cutter and instructions were at the bottom of the box, and I unfortunately didn't find until I was breaking down the box for recycling. I used a wrapping paper cutter, which is essentially the same as the cutter provided. I opened it in my living room, but I suggest following the instructions that says to open it where you plan to sleep on it.Many suggest letting it expand for 72 hours to let it fully take shape and outgas and chemical smell. I would say I have it a good 2 hours before sleeping on it. I didn't notice and smell, and I kind of just fluffed up the wonky areas like beating a pillow, which brought the bed to proper shape. The bed is very comfortable. It honestly feels like a normal mattress. My partner loves it, as she needed something softer. I like a bit more support than her, but this works great for both of us. We've had it for about a week, and we're both sleeping great on it. We do have a 4in foam mattress topper on it, so that does make it even softer. As long as this lasts us a few years, this will be well worth it.
