I saw quite a few other bad reviews on this bed stating that it was difficult to put together. I will admit, when it comes to furniture that needs to be built, I discount other reviewers reviews. Putting together furniture is quite similar to a puzzle - just in 3D.This is straightforward. If you've ever put together a kitchen cabinet, something with drawers, this will be simple. A bit heavy, but simple.I bought this as it resembled a platform bed from Urban Outfitters that cost ~$700. This is solid wood and far cheaper, so I was sold.I'm a 4'11", 90 pound woman. I put this together by myself in 1.5 hours. I timed myself haha - because I was wondering about these reviews. If you are in shape, able to lift at least 30 pounds pretty easily, tighten screws really well, and read directions well...you'll be perfectly fine. If you are within the weight limits of this be frame, you should be fine. If your "extracurricular activities" are in the strain of normality...you should be fine.It's a beautiful bed, exactly what was advertised, easy to put together.
