The pillowcases are nice. The one star subtraction is that I wanted a blush color and this is more a darker pink, so they really do not match or blend well with my sheets and bedspread. I use two pillows and wanted the extra pillowcases to go with sheets/pillowcases/bedspread I already have.I have a California King bed and finding a sheet set that fits is challenging. I was very pleased while making the bed with my new sheets. The overhang on each side is over 18”. Usually I short my side but there’s enough for both sides. The top sheet at the bottom hung over far enough to tuck in and properly make the bed. Very deep pockets. Best fitting sheets I’ve ever bought. The only thing I was a lil disappointed in was the fact they were made with Indian cotton, not Egyptian as the product description stated. I will definitely buy these again!The best feature of Egyptian cotton linens is their high thread count; they last for years. One other feature is that if laundered correctly with an unscented detergent and fabric softener, they stay soft and comfortable for years.It is very good qualityI was nervous ordering the sheets - When they arrived and I tried them on the bed I knew I made the right decision. We've washed them 3 times so far and the color hasn't faded, they are getting softer with every wash but they were kinda stiff after the initial wash. I was expecting them to be softer, I have had 800 thread count sheets from other brands that were softer, but they did end up wearing out pretty fast, I have higher expectations for these sheets based off what I have read about them. Wrinkle free got 4 stars because they do a decent job at staying wrinkle free, we are helping them by using the steam cycle during drying, without steam they do wrinkle some. Softness I gave a 3 becuase I was expecting them to be softer, as I said above I had sheets that were 200 thread count less that were softer. They are getting softer after every wash but I'm expecting this to plateau soon. The comfort is 4 stars because it's right in the middle of my highest and lowest expectations. I really have no complaints about these sheets the only criticism is subjective which is the softness. These are much better than the standard cotton sheets, they are thicker, they wick away moisture, and there is a sense of luxury to them. I do reccomend them as my sleep has improved, just don't set your expectations too high after all they are only $100 for 1,000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, which is on the low end of cost. I imagine the $200 ones are just better all around, but that is not a complaint. These sheets delivered what I expected for the most part and will improve a bed's comfort over standard sheets. Shipping was fast, I recommend these sheets and company.I held the sheet up to the light of the window and saw that i could see about twice as much detail of the outside scene compared to a sheet years older and with a 400 thread count, but in different cotton material. Alsothe weave looks much looser or more relaxed than the older sheet. I think a 1000 thread count would be quiteevident at first look ! In my opinion a loose weave is inferior, given a thread of similar thickness compared to older 400 count material. Of course linen material is thicker and gives a 100-150 thread count, and is not in this class.I also noted that the older material had more loose ' fluff ' between threads, but where the material threads werebare and not fuzzy i could see more space between threads in the Egyptian cotton. So what gives? How is the 1000 count substantiated?I just received the sheets and just by opening the plastic pouch and touching them i can tell its not the threat xpunt advertised. The sheets are thin. My current 1500 egyptian cotton sheet ive had for a decade are thick. U could literally use them as a rope to escape a building they are so strong and thick yet so soft.I didnt even bother removing this product from the package just by the weight and feel i know its not what i am looking for.So dispapointed!Great colour, softness and a perfect fit.After a couple of months us the sheets started to ball. I would not recommend these sheets.
