The other day I realized that for most of the year I am actually cold. In the winter the heater doesn't keep the house ideally warm and in summer the air conditioner makes things chilly. Fall and Spring are hot and cold alternately as the season is changing. So technically I need a heating blanket all during the whole year except for a few really hot weeks in the summer.This heating blanket is supremely well made. The connections for the wires is on the edge of the end of the bed so it doesn't get in the way of your feet. Perfect placement! Also the wires are evenly distributed over the whole bed making it nice and warm.So far I've only been using the heat setting at #2 and the timer set at 1 hour to go off. That is perfect right now. If I'm reading in bed usually heating it up a bit before is ideal. The controllers are also very comforting for some reason. The little buttons are sort of cushy and the round shape of the controller fits easily in your hand.Oh the cozy bliss of a warm bed! I am so happy with this heated mattress pad that I can highly recommend it. As someone who spends a great deal of the day either reading in bed or sleeping in bed I am a creature of comfort.
