I had not really expected much from this mattress frame (truth be told) as I had purchased something in the past from a different seller but the same price. So needless to say was very surprised when assembling the bed. You can tell the quality is there from the thickness of the pieces and the fact the wood wasn't instantly trying to splinter into my fingers. Once assembled it remains very sturdy and is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. A shame it only goes up to the queen size and I did have some confusion with the nuts on the center from, but I have no regrets buying this frame as I definitely got (I feel) more the my money's worth.This is a great bedLooks really niceIt's nice to not need a box spring mattress with this bedIt was easy to put together. Parts were labeled making it easy to follow instructions to assemble.When the mattress is on the bed frame there is a space between the side rails and the mattress which makes it seem as though it's too big but it's designed that way so you can tuck the blankets in for a clean tailored look. I received many compliments and even recommended it to friends. Fast forward 6 months and my thoughts have changed! The legs on the middle support beam are flimsy and easily bend. My bed is on hard wood floors and I’m the only person that sleeps in it, I’m not a big person. After about 6 months I noticed that the middle of my bed was sagging a bit and when I checked under the bed I noticed that all 3 of the support legs were bent and the screw feet were at disjointed angles. I would not recommend this bed for regular use, maybe as a guest bed that is infrequently used. So gorgeous but so disappointingI bought this for my daughter’s apt, and I haven’t seen it in person.
