Bed frame feels sturdy and safe, but after about a week of use and activities, this thing creaks with every movement. Cant complain though, looks good and does the job. 4 stars. We needed a bed with a high headboard and with plenty of under bed storage, but a combination of the two were impossible to find as a complete bed. I found this Walker Edison headboard and it fit the bill. it is tall enough (48"_so that we did not have to lower the paintings above it. It has two sets of holes for mounting to a bed frame in either a low version or the high one see in the photos. We mounted it on anOlee Sleep 14 Inch Modern Metal Platform Bed Frame to have the clearance we wanted for storage and it came out beautifully! There was a minor glitch with the. hardware that came with the frame, but that's a different review.I purchased this bed after reading reviews that solidified my confidence. Typically, I only read 3-5 star reviews as I find the vast majority of 1-2 star reviews to be written by imbeciles. With that side note out of the way, I'd like to mention other reviews that claimed a machined screw hole was barely off, leading to consumer complaint. This is a result of tightening screws before assembly is complete. I implore customers to snug up all screws during assembly, then back off 1/2 turn. This action will eliminate alignment issues. Furthermore, put your mattress/box spring in place and assure the frame is true (squared) before final screw tightening. Now, on to the good stuff. This is a weighty frame; prepare to hoist the ~80lb box through your house to the desired room. Assembly was simple, though a bit time consuming. I am very mechanically inclined, and a tinkerer to boot. Given that I insisted on having each washer installed polished side out--and completed this assembly alone--it took me roughly an hour. I've seen reviews claiming one-hour completion, and I assure you they did a sloppy job. Take your time when assembling furniture to ensure quality work and longevity of the product.Upon finishing assembly, the frame was sturdy with minimal wobble. "Minimal" to me is less than a 1/4" top-side headboard movement when my 210lb self leaps from the floor onto the bed beginning ~2' from the frame.Everything went smooth, the bed is solid, no product manufacturing issues. So why only 4 stars? Ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT reclaimed wood, as advertised. The wood is convincing, in appearance, but any woodworker will tell you this isn't reclaimed wood after they scrape their fingernail across the grain. For that, one star reduced.Hope you guys enjoy the bed as much as I do. Remember: snug the screws during assembly, back off 1/2 turn, finish piecing together, fit mattress/box spring, tighten all screws. This method should be applied to any assembly.Cheers!Do not recommend setting this up yourself. It’s heavy and a little complicated. Took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. But, it’s very sturdy and perfectly fits the aesthetic of my room.Installation to the bed frame was a breeze based on well written (with pictures) instructions. Well made, looks great.I was hopeful for this bed frame. After reading many reviews I was worried but I decided to take a chance and buy it. So let’s start from the beginning. It ships in two boxes that are almost impossible to move by yourself. However, I was able to assemble it by myself. I did have a few screws break during assembly but it comes with plenty of spares. Once my mattress (super dense memory foam) was on top of the frame I noticed that when I sat on it the mattress would sink in between the slats. I could have fixed this problem with the purchase of more slats or a box spring....but I didn’t. Given my bed was more dense it wasn’t too noticeable. I did notice that the bed sits CRAZY low to the ground, the top of my mattress barely came up to my knee when I stood next to it. I’ve now had the frame for 6 months and 5 of the 6 legs that go under the frame have bent...this frame is not made for heavy loads, belly flopping, 5 star frog splashing, or excessive hanky panky. Also, the legs have scratched and gouged big indented into my hardwood floors even though they have rubber and felt protective pieces on all the legs. I would say only buy this bed frame if you are a single, tame sleeping person who has carpet floors and is willing to purchase bed slats.Pros:Looks great, seems sturdy and durable. Room for low profile storage bins underneath. Easy to assemble. I love the colors and patterns on the wood. Goes great with anything.Cons:The box came in a little beat up so there’s a quarter-sized ding on one of the head boards, but not very noticeable.I had to buy wooden slats to support my mattress. A box spring would probably work, but anything soft sinks between the supports.I’ve had this for over a year and still no issues.I really took a chance ordering this bed frame. It's hard to know what you are getting based off of other peoples descriptions online, but the pictures of this bed looked amazing, so I thought I would give it a try. Was a bit anxious waiting for the bed and putting it together because of a review that I read about he bed not holding much weight. I'm here to tell you... that is simply not true. My husband is 270 and I am 200 and we have the box spring, mattress and heavy memory foam and the bed is SOLID. Doesn't squeak, doesn't move at all. This bed is heavy and holds a lot of weight. It took us about 2 hours to put together. If you are on the fence about getting this bed...Just do it!!Absolutely fabulous bed❤️
