For the money, this is a very nice bedroom set. It is very attractive, perhaps moreso in person than in the photos. It is made from pine, so it's a softer wood, but the set was extremely well packed to prevent damage in shipping. Unfortunately, this results in a LOT of styrofoam and stretch wrap to throw away, but it does keep it safe. Constructing the bed took 2-3 hours, including deciphering the instructions, unpacking a number of parts, and the amount of precision required; otherwise, the rest went up quickly, mainly just putting in the drawer handles. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase and it looks great in our bedroom.
